They were a very good debate team, only losing one match before facing and defeating the national champs, Harvard University. The message of the film to me is, if you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything. After professor Tolson was arrested for a trumped charge and set free, they continued to debate. One of the social injustices of our day that I do not agree with, is the law that you must wear a helmet when riding on a motorcycle.
